The College of DuPage men's volleyball team remained unbeaten on Feb. 5, traveling to University Park and sweeping the Jaguars of Governor's State University in straight sets (25-19, 25-21, 25-22). With the win, the Chaparrals improved to 7-0 on the season.
Defensively, Lance Mueller contributed two blocks and two digs, while Adam Janowiak added two blocks, three digs, and an ace. Adam Sanchez also made his presence felt at the net with three blocks, an ace, and three digs. Nicholas Ockrim anchored the back row with a team-high eight digs.
Head coach Tolis Koskinaris was pleased with his team's effort, saying, "Nice road win against a quality program. We came out focused and put a lot of attack pressure on the other team. Defense was strong, with Nick, Jahir, and Coady doing a great job getting the ball to the setter. On to a three-day weekend, and we get after it again on Monday."
The Chaparrals return home for their next test on Feb. 13 in Glen Ellyn, hosting the Crimson Wave of Calumet College of St. Joseph. First serve is scheduled for 6 p.m. as DuPage looks to stay unbeaten in the early stretch of the 2026 season.
