The College of DuPage men's volleyball team extended its winning streak to nine matches, improving to 20–2 on the season with victories over NJCAA Region IV opponent Bryant & Stratton on March 17 and St. Xavier University on March 18.
Against the Bobcats on March 17, the Chaps dropped the opening set before rallying to win the next three and secure a 3–1 victory (21–25, 25–22, 25–21, 25–17). Adam Janowiak led the attack with 14 kills, followed by Brayden Tejeda with 10. Adam Sanchez added seven kills and two service aces, while Danny Overlin chipped in six kills and Luc Neczek contributed five.
Max McDermott directed the offense with an impressive 32 assists. Defensively, Nicholas Ockrim led the way with 16 digs, while Janowiak added 10 and Jahir Lopez recorded eight. At the net, Overlin posted two solo blocks, Sanchez added three block assists, and Lance Mueller contributed two.
On March 18 against St. Xavier, the Chaps earned a straight-set sweep, winning 3–0 (32–30, 25–22, 25–23) while hitting an efficient .406 as a team. Sanchez and Overlin paced the offense with nine kills each, and Mueller added seven. Amadeus Morales provided a spark from the service line with three aces, while McDermott tallied 20 assists.
Defensively, Ockrim recorded six digs, with Janowiak and Coady Seidler adding five apiece. Overlin again made an impact at the net with two solo blocks.
Head coach Tolis Koskinaris said after the win, "Quality play ending our back-to-back road games tonight at St. Xavier. They are one of the most competitive programs in the area, and we know that we need to be sharp to obtain a favorable result. Really special play from Nick Ockrim and our bigs Adam Janowiak and Adam Sanchez."
