The College of DuPage men's volleyball team hosted the reserve squad from North Park University on March 3 and made quick work of the Vikings, sweeping the match in three sets, 25-16, 25-22, 25-17.
Adam Janowiak led the DuPage attack with eight kills. Coady Seidler added five, while Lance Mueller chipped in four and Adam Sanchez recorded three. Brayden Tejeda, Danny Overlin, Max Sobus, and Robert Witek each finished with two kills in the balanced offensive effort.
Max McDermott directed the offense with 17 assists, and Amadeus Morales contributed nine to keep the Chaps' ball movement sharp throughout the night.
Defensively, Jahir Lopez paced DuPage with 11 digs. Seidler added seven digs, and McDermott tallied six. At the net, the Chaparrals recorded six solo blocks, with Mueller, Tyler Sampson, and Matthew Pemberton each rejecting two Viking attempts.
Now 13-2 overall, DuPage heads on the road for its next seven matches, beginning March 5 at Milwaukee School of Engineering.
