61 Chaparrals, Seven Programs Earn NJCAA Academic Honors

Sixty-one College of DuPage student-athletes and seven athletic programs earned NJCAA Academic Honors for the 2025-26 academic year.

Student-athletes were recognized on three NJCAA All-Academic teams based on cumulative grade point averages of at least 3.60.

The Chaparrals placed 13 student-athletes on the NJCAA All-Academic First Team, recognizing those who achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA during the academic year. An additional 21 student-athletes earned Second Team honors with GPAs between 3.80 and 3.99, while 27 Chaparrals were named to the Third Team with GPAs ranging from 3.60 to 3.79.

At the team level, seven Chaparral programs earned NJCAA Academic Team honors by posting cumulative grade point averages of 3.0 or higher: men's golf (3.49), women's volleyball (3.52), men's tennis (3.29), women's half marathon (3.02), women's cross country (3.13), softball (3.22) and women's track and field (3.08).

"With seven teams earning above a 3.0 cumulative team GPA and 61 individuals earning above a 3.60 GPA, this recognition and your commitment to excellence in both the classroom and competition is truly inspiring. Your achievements reflect the very best of what it means to be a student-athlete, congratulations on this well-deserved honor."
