The College of DuPage women's tennis team fell 6-3 to Waubonsee Community College on Thursday.

Manuela Sus continued to provide a strong presence for the Chaps, earning a singles victory and teaming with sophomore Semra Jadadic for a doubles win.

Martina Ulloa also delivered one of the day's most dramatic finishes, battling through a super tiebreaker and fighting off a match point before earning a 12-10 victory.

Head coach Bowers praised the team's effort despite the loss.

"Even though we lost a few other matches, it was a good day, since everyone gave it their all and fought hard," Bowers said. "Sometimes your opponents are just too tough, but that means we need to practice and think about our style of play so we can improve."
