OT proves unkind

Box Score Madison's Mackenzie Bielecki drove home the game's only goal in the 93rd minute as the Chaps lost 1-0 in OT in N4C soccer Wednesday night at Bjarne Ullsvik Stadium.

The Chaps, now 3-6-1 overall, are at Triton on Saturday.

Coach Zac Ludwig's team totaled nine shots with four shots on goal — two each by Mia Clavelli and McKayla Garcia — but it wasn't enough against Madison GK Kelly Kubicek.

Chaps GK Laurne Diddia had three saves.

The Chaps honored their seven sophomores — Clavelli, Garcia, Diddia, Celeste Avila, Jackie Carrasco, Vanessa Ramirez and Brianna Floyd — at halftime.
