The Chaparrals closed their season Tuesday afternoon with a 5-4 loss against nonconference foe McHenry County in men's tennis.
Â
COD finished the season 3-6 overall and had its three-match winning streak end.
Â
"It's a good feeling that we won four of our six matches that we played today,'' Chaparrals head coach
Jim Bowers said. "We showed improvement over the last month and that says a lot for our freshmen who will return. Our sophomores hung in there and set an example. Lots of good things to build upon.''
