The Chaparrals faced their second opponent in as many days Tuesday when they played host to College of Lake County in men's tennis. Lake County won the dual, 9-0 in nonconference play.
 
Avik Majmudar,  Muhammad Adeeb, and Martin Kaynakchiev suited up for the Chaps, who fought through a 10-degree drop in temperature that struck shortly after first serve.
 
Majmudar played at No. 1 singles and was dealt a 6-0, 6-1 defeat, while No. 2 Adeeb lost 6-0, 6-0. At No. 3, Kaynakchiev lost 6-0, 6-0.
 
Majmudar and Adeeb were the only doubles team for COD, and they lost 8-1 to Mike Sims and Ken Herrmann.
 
The Chaps return to the courts Thursday afternoon at home against Waubonsee. First serve is  3 p.m.
