The Chaps' women's team opened the season Sept. 10 in a 7-2 loss at Waubonsee. Earning victories for the Chaps were Rachel Hofstetter at No. 1 singles and Alison McKeney at No. 2 singles.
 
On Sept. 17, the Chaps were defeated 8-1 at McHenry County. Hofstetter picked up the win at No. 1 singles.
 
The Chaps play host to Illinois Valley on Wednesday.
