Box Score Eveleen Guemez and Lesly Mora keyed the Chaparrals, but visiting Triton was too strong in a 4-2 Chaps' loss on Sophomore Day at Bjarne Ullsvik Stadium.
 
The Chaps finished the regular season 7-8 overall and play at Waubonsee on Sunday morning in a Region 4 quarterfinal game. Kickoff is  at11 a.m.
 
Trailing 2-0, Guemez controlled a well-placed pass from teammate Morgan Clifford in the 24^th minute. She delivered a one-timer for the goal.
 
Down 3-1 at halftime, Mora got the Chaps to within a goal of the lead with sparkling shot in the 54^th minute.
 
Prior to the game, sophomores Fran Ottolino and Stefani Malyshivska were honored in their final regular-season game for the Chaps.
