Jacki Casas's goal in the 35
th minute in the first half, the Chaps broke through with four goals in the second half, beginning with
Estefanny Ruiz's goal in the 51
st minute.

One minute later, Ahrens scored the first of her two goals and she added another for a 4-0 lead in the 56
th minute.

Yesenia Cruz all scored their goals down the stretch.

The one-sided game pleased Ahrens, who entered the contest with just one goal on the season.

"We couldn't capitalize on our opportunities in the first half,'' she said. "In the second half, we kicked into another gear. We did a pretty good job of spreading the wealth and having lots of us involved.''

"We were knocking on the door in the first half,'' Ludwig said. "Kind of frustrating, but found a way to get the job done in the second half.''
The Chaps have now scored 13 goals in their last two goals and have posted shutouts in each game.
Madelyn McGuire earned the shutout against the Hawks.
