College of DuPage had its season come to an end in the opening round of the NJCAA Region4, Division II women's soccer tournament, losing to top-seed and host Waubonsee, 6-0 on Sunday.
 
The eighth-seeded Chaparrals finished their season 7-9 overall.
 
The Chaps were our-shot by the nation's No.6-ranked team, 21-13. They trailed 3-0 at halftime.
 
Waubonsee (14-1-1) moves on to face Bryant & Stratton on Tuesday.
