Coach Ryan Connell's crew dominated fellow N4C member Harper on Tuesday, sweeping the doubleheader with scores of 19-4 and 16-0.
 
The Chaps, now 8-4, are at home Friday against Elgin.
 
Game 1: Chaps 19, Harper 4

• Freshman Carlee Baker totaled seven RBI, thanks to her two inside-the-park home runs
• One of Baker's homers was a grand slam in the third that gave the Chaps a 9-0 lead
• Ashley Eiermann gave the Chaps a 2-0 lead in the first with an inside-the-park blast
• Amber Dasenbrock connected on a run-scoring double in the second
• Hanah Nickrand had an RBI-double in the fourth
• The Chaps scored 10 runs on eight hits in the fourth inning
• Eiermann had four RBI
• Paige Jahaske threw five innings, striking out six and walking just one batter

 
Game 2: Chaps 16, Harper 0

• Freshman RHP Amber Dasenbrock struck out 12 and gave up just two hits and did offer a walk
• Dasenbrock helped her cause with an inside-the-park HR in the third
• Dasenbrock also had a triple and scored three runs
• Kelsey Warren had three hits including a double
• Nicole Brace drove in three runs with a double
• Sydney Sturino tripled and scored three runs
• Vincenza Zaccaro had the Chaps' other extra-base hit, an RBI double in the fourth
