Box Score Sophomore Eveleen Guemez connected on a feed pass from Summer Garcia, and delivered on a header for COD, which tied Kankakee College 1-1 in Region IV women's soccer Wednesday  night at Bjarne Ullsvik Stadium.
 
COD, now 2-3-3 overall, plays at Black Hawk College on Sunday before returning home Tuesday against College of Lake County.
 
Trailing 1-0 after the Cavaliers scored in the 11^th minute, Guemez broke the tie in. the 21^st minute.
 
COD had perhaps its best chance for a go-ahead goal when Morgan Clifford fired a point-blank shot inside with two minutes left in regulation, but the Cavs' GK made the save.
