COD opened its season Monday afternoon with a 9-0 loss at Elmhurst in men's tennis.

Coach Jim Bowers begins his 15th season with the Chaps, who play a heavy-laden schedule against four-year schools with the season geared toward the Region 4 tourney next month.

The Chaps are at St. Francis on Thursday.
