The Chaparrals completed their regular season Tuesday in their 5-4 loss against Moraine Valley in Region IV tennis.
 
COD takes on Illinois Valley this weekend at the Region IV tourney for the right to advance to the NJCAA Division III national tournament, held May 13-15 in Oxford, Ga.
 
Coach Jim Bowers says
"Everyone seems to be peaking at the right time as we prepare for this weekend's regional tourney against Illinois Valley. I like our shot selection and that we're limiting our errors. The guys have shown their dedication through practice and conditioning, so we're ready to give it our best shot.
