The loss snapped the Chaps' winning streak at four as they now prepare for Tuesday night's home game against McHenry County.

The Chaps (5-3 overall) could not overcome the Lancers' inside game as Jake Gibson was 9-of-9 from the field and led with 18 points. Justin St. Louis added 16 as CLC hit 54.2 percent from the field on 26 of 48 shooting.

"We were inconsistent on both ends of the court tonight,'' head coach
Joe Kuhn said. "We fought back, but some poor possessions late were costly.''

COD trailed 58-46 with 7:04 to go and cut the Lancers' lead to three — 64-61 — with 3:01 to go but never got any closer.
