Carmen Solis showed again why she is a proven force in junior college cross country in her two seasons with College of DuPage, earning another top-25 effort against four-year schools Saturday during the Seminole Valley Stampede in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Solis ran the 6,000-meter course in 23 minutes, 34.0 seconds and placed 23rd in the field comprised of 139 competitors.
Bre Pelligrini and
Maureen Bluemle each broke through the top 100, placing 87th and 98th, respectively.
The Chaps continue their season Oct. 18 at Bradley University.
