The College of DuPage women's cross country team competed at the Seminole Valley Stampede in Cedar Rapids, I.A. on Oct. 4, placing 15th out of 18 teams. The Chaps were able to notch numerous personal bests on the day.
Jessica Balmer led the Chaps in the women's 6K race with a time of 25:05.1, finishing 64th overall.
"We had 13 PRs and six season bests across the two programs, so it was a great day for both teams," head coach
Mallory Dominguez said. "Their training and hard work are paying off as they continue to improve each week. The women were led by
Jessica Balmer, who ran a more than 40-second PR. We're excited for one more regular season contest with the Bradley Pink Classic coming up in two weeks."
