Chaps answer back in 3-1 win

The Chaparrals scored three unanswered goals and walked off the pitch Friday afternoon with a 3-1 win at Harper in the season debut for coach Matt Hanna's team.
 
Down 1-0, Veronica Helma tied the game in the 14th minute after receiving the ball from Grace Soltys. Mayrin Ortiz-Teutle gave COD the go-ahead tally in the 35th minute unassisted.
 
Lucille Sugarman added the second-half's only goal with an unassisted strike with three minutes remaining.
 
GK Corinne Myket went the distance, earning six saves
 
COD makes it home debut Monday against Lincoln Land. Kickoff is 4 p.m.
