No. 5 College of DuPage scored 17 consecutive points to open Tuesday night's home match against visiting Wisconsin-Whitewater (Rock County) and earned a 3-0 victory at PEC Arena.

The Chaps (4-1, 1-0 Region 4) are at Kishwaukee on Thursday night. They return to PEC Arena on Sept. 5 when they open the Chap Invitational against Dallas College-North Lake.

COD earned first serve, and with
Francesca Brandonisio serving, the Chaps took immediate control with the 17-point streak.

Brandonisio ended the night with an impressive seven service aces in the 25-11, 25-20, 25-13 victory over the Warhawks.

Josephine Becker led the way with seven kills and
Alyssa Schillaci added six.
Alyza Grubich (13) and
Ava Diaz (10) totaled 23 assists.

Diaz also secured two service aces. Defensively, Brandonisio led in digs with 11 and Camnila Fundora added seven with
Christina Savaglio six.
