Mariel Lara's unassisted goal in the 77^th minute of play proved to be the difference maker as the visiting Chaparrals defeated Black Hawk Moline 2-1 in Region 4 women's soccer Sunday afternoon.
 
The Chaps (3-5, 3-4 Region 4) return to Ullsvik Stadium on Wednesday afternoon when they take on Joliet Junior College. Kickoff is 6:30 p.m.
 
COD earned an own goal that broke a scoreless tie in the 61^st minute.
 
Lara had all four shots for the Chaps.
 
Jaydellis Mongoy played all 90 minutes in goal and earned the victory with 11 saves.
