The College of DuPage women's soccer team traveled to Bryant & Stratton (Wis.) to take on the Bobcats in Wauwatosa, Wis., on Oct. 10. The Chaps had no issues taking care of business, connecting on four goals and giving up none to win the match 4-0.
It was a total team effort for Dupage, which tallied 18 shots on goal compared to zero for Bryant & Stratton.
Mariel Lara opened the scoring early with an assist from
Aneya Villarreal in the sixth minute.
The Chaps opened the floodgates in the second half, with
Maria Haworth connecting on a goal assisted by
Peyton Wright. Lara scored her second goal of the night with an assist from
Carolina Carreon. Carreon then found the back of the net herself to put the Bobcats away for good, assisted by
Katie Castillo.
