The College of DuPage women's golf team took on Rock Valley College at the Duel at PrairieView on Oct. 8. 

Teams paired up to play two formats across 18 holes, a scramble on the front nine and best ball on the back nine. Scores were recorded both individually and by team totals. 

Rock Valley won the event with a team score of 153 (+9), while DuPage finished close behind at 159 (+15). The pair of Aubreye Hyatt and Isabella Krosse led the Chaps with a 74 to take first place out of six teams. Maryssa Zielinski and Liliana Martinez finished fourth with an 85. 

"We played a different format today and had a little fun," head coach Jason Hyatt said. "To be able to play with a teammate during a round was fun for everyone. It definitely gave each of the players insight into how each plays and, more importantly, a chance to learn from each other."
