The College of DuPage women's soccer team took on Milwaukee Area Technical College at Bjarne Ullsvik Stadium on Oct. 8, prevailing in a result 1-0. 

Mariel Lara scored the lone goal in the 24th minute off an assist from Carolina Carreon. 

The goalkeeper duo of Brooke Cutlip and Elizabeth Fried combined for a perfect outing, recording three saves on three shots on goal. 

Head coach Matt Hana said, "Strong performance. I'm happy with how we kept possession and controlled the tempo of the game." 

DuPage will travel to Bryant & Stratton College on Oct. 10 to take on the Bobcats in Milwaukee.
