The College of DuPage men's basketball team delivered one of its sharpest offensive performances of the season, rolling past Black Hawk Techincal College 97-62 on Dec. 6.
The Chaparrals set the tone early and stormed into halftime with a commanding 58-27 lead, fueled by efficient ball movement and a barrage of perimeter shooting, COD finished 14 of 23 from beyond the arc (60.9%) and shot an impressive 64% overall (38 of 59).
Freshman forward
Vuk Zogovich led COD with 19 points, knocking down 4 of 7 from 3-point range and providing consistent scoring throughout the night.
Kaden McGee added 16 points, while
Logan Glover contributed 12.
Ethan Howard turned in one of the game's most complete stat lines, recording 13 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds.
Adyn McGinley posted seven points and seven assists as the Chaparrals continued to share the ball at a high level.
COD's offensive rhythm never wavered in the second half, maintaining its lead and closing out a convincing win on the road against the Talons. DuPage is back in action on Dec. 8, hosting Moraine Valley Community College for a 7:00 p.m. tip.
