All-American sophomore sped his way to another NJCAA indoor qualifying time in the 60 meters, running 6.74 seconds en route to a victory in Friday's Slick Invitational held at North Central College.
 
McMiller led the way and freshman pole vaulter Andrew Kallas followed with a solid and NJCAA indoor qualifying height 4.50 m (14 feet, 9 inches).
 
Those two, along with high jumper 
Ronan Cornelius, will make the trip to the NJCAA indoor championship next month in Lubbock, Texas.
 
The Chaps also collected a number of outdoor qualifying standard efforts on the day. In the 200 meters, 
Weston White (22.59), 
Eli Phipps (23.13), 
William Kallas (23.29), Landon Zimmy (23.38) and Jacob Gange (23.69) qualified.
 
Sophomore 
Addisu Wolski earned a qualifying time in the 1,500 when his mile time of 4:37.69 converted to a qualifying time of 4:17.11. Cornelius cleared 1.93 m (6-4) in the high jump and Bryan Pochowicz cleared 3.60 m (11-9 ¾) in the pole vault.
 
Triple jumper 
Karam Tajeddin reached 13.08 m (42-11) for a qualifying distance and shot putters 
Tayo Taiwo 13.22 m (43-4 ½), 
John Tarpeh 12.96 m (42-6 ¼), and 
Sterling Sawicki 12.17 m (41-8 ¼) reached the requisite distance.
The 4 x 400 relay team of 
Anthony Urban, 
Owen Fitzgerald, 
Joseph Jackson, and 
Chris Ruchaj ran a qualifying time of 3:34.00.
The Chaps open their outdoor season March 28 at Washington University in St. Louis.
