The College of DuPage Women's Soccer team took to the road for the first time and defeated Kishwaukee College by a score of 6-0 on Thursday afternoon in DeKalb. The win lifts the Chaps record to 2-0 for the season.
A balanced scoring attack was led by
Grace Soltys, who scored two goals in the contest.
Sophia Enriquez,
Maria Haworth,
Carolina Carreon, and
Katie Castillo each added goals while
Mariel Lara notched 2 assists as DuPage scored early and often to take a 5-0 lead in to the half and cruised to the victory.
Brooke Cutlip recorded her second straight shutout in goal to start the season.Â

Matt Hanna was pleased with the effort stating " We controlled the game from the start and kept pushing for more goals. It's good to see the team coming together so early in the season."Â
After a scrimmage at Wheaton JV on Monday, the Chaps return home to take on Region 4 rival Harper College on Wednesday afternoon Sept 3rd at 2:30 PM as the second game of a Men's and Women's Soccer home doubleheader.Â
