The College of DuPage women's volleyball team returned to action at home in Glen Ellyn on Sept. 25, falling to Kankakee Community College 3-1. 

Although the Chaps battled, they ultimately dropped the match in four sets, 19-25, 25-27, 25-23, 22-25. Claire Rambasek led the squad with 11 kills, while Lexie Hornbogen and Megan Daca each tallied 8. Daca also posted a team-best .333 hitting percentage. 

Frankie Brandonisio anchored DuPage defensively with 22 digs, and Daca added a solo block. 

The Chaps will have a week to regroup before their next home contest against South Suburban College on Oct. 2 at the PEC Arena in Glen Ellyn.
