The College of DuPage men's basketball team opened the new year with a strong victory, defeating Marian-Ancilla College 101-82 at the PEC Arena in Glen Ellyn. 

Seven Chaps reached double figures, showcasing a balanced offensive attack. Logan Glover led DuPage with 12 points, followed by Amari Ford with 11. Ethan Howard, Payton Moore, Cameron Chandler, JJ Hernandez, and Vuk Zogovich each added 10 points. Ford also paced the team with nine assists, while DuPage converted 20 of 23 free-throw attempts on the night. 

Head coach Joe Kuhn was pleased with his team's effort. 

"Great way to start the second half of the season," Kuhn said. "I thought we were really good in transition offensively. Defensively, we held them to 23 in the first half. The effort was tremendous, we made our free throws, and all in all it was a really good effort. I'm really happy with the guys today." 

The win improved DuPage's record to 9-6 on the season. The Chaps return to action Jan. 15 when they host Wilbur Wright College at the PEC Arena for a 7 p.m. tip.
