The College of DuPage women's track & field team made its second straight trip to Naperville, competing at North Central College's Slick Invitational. Facing a deep field that included NJCAA programs and four-year universities, the Chaparrals turned in a strong showing with multiple top-10 finishes against tough competition.

Klaudia Sztafa paced the Chaparrals in the 200-meter dash, placing 14th with a time of 27.24. Elena Kosorog led DuPage in the 3,000-meter run, finishing in 11:48.64.

The distance medley relay team of Maureen Bluemle, Samantha Blankenship, Allison Browne, and Kosorog delivered a standout performance, earning a second-place finish in 14:04.33. Browne also added an eighth-place mark in the high jump, clearing 1.50 meters.

Kailee Rodeck continued her strong season in the pole vault, securing another top-five finish with a clearance of 3.51 meters. Adrianna Villanova placed 15th in the long jump with a mark of 4.68 meters.

In the throws, Brianne Davis led the way for DuPage, finishing 11th in the shot put (10.02 meters) and turning in an impressive fourth-place performance in the weight throw with a toss of 14.37 meters.

Head Coach Mallory Dominguez was happy with her team's performance, stating:

"A lot of PRs and season bests on the women's side as well in both the sprints and distance events. We had Maya open in the 800 for the first time and she ran a 2:45, which was fantastic.

Kaylee continued to perform well in the pole vault. It wasn't a PR day for her, but she's still ranked third in the NJCAA going into the Indoor National Championship, and she's our sole qualifier on the women's side. We're excited to see what she does there."
