The College of DuPage women's soccer team dominated Richard J. Daley College, earning an 8-0 victory at home on Sept. 12 to improve to 3-2-1 on the season.

The win marked the second time this season the Chaps have recorded an 8-0 home victory, with both matches ending early due to the eight-goal margin.

Mariana Reyes Sanchez led the offensive attack with two goals, giving her eight goals on the season. Julia Gonzalez also scored twice and added an assist, while Sophia Enriquez recorded two goals and two assists.

Katie Castillo added a goal and an assist, Alexa Gallardo scored once and added an assist, and Aneya Villareal recorded an assist.

The Chaps overwhelmed Daley throughout the match, producing 30 shots with 18 on goal.

Heidi Manriquez played all 90 minutes in goal and the Bulldogs did not record a shot.

COD travels to River Grove on Sept. 16 to take on Triton College. The Trojans have not scored against the Chaps since 2022, when COD fell 2-0.
