The College of DuPage men's golf team competed at the Sauk Valley Invitational on Monday, Sept. 15, with the DuPage White squad finishing third.

The White team of Kyrin Abella, Mitchell Keith, Zade Grubich and Ryan Desagun finished third, trailing only Black Hawk College and Carl Sandburg College.

Abella led the Chaps individually, finishing second out of 60 golfers after firing a 69, three strokes under par. Keith and Henrick Wilson each carded a 74, with Wilson finishing 10th overall and Keith taking 13th.

Grubich and Grayson Birkmeier each shot a 76, while Desagun finished with a 78. Patrick Davis carded a 79.

The Chaps also fielded a DuPage Green squad featuring Wilson, Birkmeier, Ben Holcombe and Jake Rzeszutek.

DuPage will travel to Morris on September 22 to compete at Nettle Creek CC.
