The College of DuPage men's golf team finished third at the Clash at Creek, hosted by Joliet Junior College Sept. 22 at Nettle Creek Country Club in Morris, Ill.

The Chaps finished at 25-over par as a team, finishing ahead of Rock Valley (+27), Blackhawk Technical (+34), Kishwaukee (+54) and Joliet (+61).

Kyrin Abella led the COD first team, tying for fifth after shooting a 74 (+3). Zade Grubich tied for ninth with a 76 (+5), while Patrick Davis tied for 14th with a 77 (+6). Jack Boehmke tied for 36th with an 82 (+11), and Mitchell Keith finished 51st with an 89 (+18).

For the second team, Ryan Desagun tied for 26th with an 80 (+9). Henrik Wilson tied for 32nd with an 81, Grayson Birkmeier tied for 38th with an 82 (+12), and Devin Cabello tied for 52nd with a 90 (+19).

COD will continue its fall season at the Benedictine Fall Invite on September 29 in West Chicago at St. Andrews GC.
