Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 No. 10 College of DuPage ended its regular season at home Thursday, celebrating Sophomore Day with a split against Moraine Valley.
 
COD had its Saturday doubleheader at Triton canceled, leaving the Region 4 and N4C champion Chaparrals with a 27-9 overall record heading into the Great Lakes District Tournament on May 12-13 here at COD.
 
COD's sophomores honored are: Chloe Warren, Kelsey Warren, Cassie Bogacz, Amber Dasenbrock, Kayla Smiley, Paige Jahaske, Carlee Baker, Madelyn Bosshart, and Raquel Procopio.
 
Game 1: Moraine Valley 9, No. 10 Chaps 3

• The Cyclones took control with a six-run, seven-hit fifth inning
• Raquel Procopio tripled in the fifth, scoring Kayla Smiley, who led with a single
• Procopio, Smiley and Kelsey Warren each had two hits

 
Game 2: No. 10 Chaps 6, Moraine Valley 3

• RHP Amber Dasenbrock went the distance, striking out five and walking one
• Carlee Baker's two-run triple gave COD a 2-0 lead in the first
• Abby Collins delivered a sac fly to center that scored Sierra Gibson in the second for a 3-0 lead
• The Chaps scored three runs on four hits in the third
• Lindsey Onnezi and Gibson each doubled in the third
• Kelsey Warren, Baker and Gibson each had two hits
