Host South Suburban handed the Chaparrals a 7-0 loss Wednesday in Region 4 women's soccer.
 
The Chaps (1-4 overall) take on Harper on Friday with a 6:30 p.m. kickoff at Bjarne Ullsvik Stadium.
 
Goalkeeper Caitlin Yurkovich gathered 12 saves.
 
"We played a better brand of soccer in the second half,'' assistant coach Mike Bona said. "We're looking to bounce Friday after a couple of tough outings.''
 
SSC's Charlene Mendoza scored five of the Bulldogs' seven goals.
