Matt Sims led COD's efforts during Tuesday's Clash at the Creek, hosted by Joliet Junior College at Nettle Creek CC in Morris.
Lomeli and Sims each fired 77s, and tied for eighth at the par-71, 6,129-yard course.
The Chaps placed fifth with 320, far and away better than the next junior college team — Rock Valley at 338.
COD is at the Benedictine Invite on Wednesday, played at West Chicago's St. Andrews GC.
