Coach Bill Sanford Says
"A good trip on a number of levels. We played very well Friday, and we knew that we had our work cut out for us Saturday. We just played with a lot of determination and our lacrosse IQ elevated the past few weeks and the boys played with nothing to lose. Â Saturday, it turned out to be a game of runs. Nassau had a little bit more fire power than us. I'm very proud of our effort. We treated it like the last game we would play together and we did. It's clear to me that the greatest role of development this season was character. Our guys had gone through the growing pains with departures and injuries and such. They got blown out by 30 in the early part of the season, and they've worked through it and wrote the the script that they wanted to get tough and they did. We're very proud of what Year 1 was all about.''
