Sophomore All-American Ivy Burnett opened the 2024-25 Fall portion in style for the Chaps, earning medalist honors at Saturday's Charger Invite, hosted by Carl Sandburg College and played at Lake Bracken Country Club.
 
Burnett fired a 9-over-par 80 to win by six strokes for her second career title.
 
Teammates Aubrye Hyatt (108) and Danielle Murphy (112) finished 13^th and 16^th, respectively.
 
COD is at the Judson Fall tourney Sept 6, held at Randall Oaks in West Dundee.

"Ivy started off a little rough and she worked her way through, steadying the ship and played a fantastic round despite the hot conditions for a six-shot victory.  "Aubreye  and Danielle competed in their first collegiate and notched a pair of top-20s.  Both played great and gutted out a round through the end.
