Freshman Aubrye Hyatt competed in Tuesday's Melee at Morris, firing a 105 at Nettle Creek Country Club.

Hyatt was the lone Chap in the event and finished tied for 14^th. Megan Redig of Rock Valley won the event played on the par-71, 5,803-yard course, firing an 86.

Hyatt will compete at this weekend's Augustana Viking Invitational. The two-round, two-day event begins Saturday at Highland Springs Golf Course in Rock Island.

"Aubrye had some ups and downs,'' head coach Jason Hyatt said. "Her birdie at No. 18 when she sent her tee shot to within three feet of the hole with her teammates looking on was pretty cool and a great way to end the round.''
