College of DuPage's contingent of Ivy Burnett and Aubreye Hyatt played at the top of the leaderboard during Tuesday's first round of the NJCAA Division III women's golf championship in Chautauqua, N.Y.

Burnett fired a 7-over-par 79 and owns a seven-shot lead while Hyatt fired a 93 and is in third place at the par-72, 5,127-yard course.

Burnett played steady throughout, earning her only birdie of the round on the par-5, 447-yard No. 10.

Hyatt's 93 featured a birdie on the par-5, 432-yard No. 3.
