The College of DuPage Women's Golf team embarked on the par 72 at St. Andrews Golf Club yesterday, Sept. 10.
22 teams and 125 individual players hit the links in a match up that saw a diverse range of institutions from 2-year colleges to 4-year universities.
"It was great to compete against some 4-year schools, this experience shows us what we still need to work on as we work throughout the fall," Head Coach Jason Hyatt stated on his team's day. "We actually came out pretty hot on the front side today, I was encouraged with the focus of the group..."
Maryssa Zielinski shot her collegiate low with a mark of 87, good for a tie for 31st individually.
Isabella Krosse shot a 92, while
Aubreye Hyatt penciled in a 98.
Liliana Martinez rounded out the Chap's effort with a 114.
DuPage finished 20th overall and shot 391 as a team. The team is back in action today, Sept. 11 at University Park Golf Club for the Governor's State invite.
