College of DuPage women's golf competed on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 at the Judson Women's Fall Invitational.
Fourteen different teams took to the course at Pinecrest Golf Club in Huntley, Illinois on Wednesday morning. The par 72 and not quite 5,500 yards tested the Lady Chaps as they played as a team for the first time this season.
Overall, the Chaparrals finished tenth shooting a team score of 388 on the day. Two COD women tied for low score on the day. Â
Isabella Krosse and Aubreye Hyatt both shot 90 and tied for 23rd on the day. Â
Maryssa Zielinski tied for 28th firing a solid round of 93, whileÂ
Liliana Martinez finished the team scoring while adding her 115 and finishing in a tie for 67th place.
Judson won their own tournament shooting 335 and winning by nine total shots. The individual medalist on the day was none other than former women's golf student athleteÂ
Ivy Burnett who continued her playing at Judson University.
Coach Jason Hyatt had this to say about watching the ladies play yesterday, "It was awesome to finally field a team for the ladies, it's been int he making for sometime and it was fun watching them all compete! We have a great group this year and we are just scratching the surface. The work they've put in so far as well as their desire to improve will suit them well as we move forward.Â
Isabella Krosse and
Aubreye Hyatt led the way with a pair of 90's, Maryssa followed with a 93 and I was really proud of Lilana as she rounded out the team with 115. We did leave a lot of shots out there and they aren't satisfied with the way they played, I didn't have to say too much. We know what we need to work on and keep on competing. This will be a good group to watch as they get more experience on the course."
