The College of DuPage men's lacrosse team opened its third season of regular season play on March 4 with a road matchup against Saint Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa. The Chaparrals cruised to a 13-8 victory to begin the season 1-0.

Bennett Jones led the DuPage offense with five goals. MJ Keblusek added three goals to record a hat trick, while Tanner Polep and Vincent Garcia-Hockett each scored twice. Parker Smith contributed one goal to round out the Chaparrals' 13-goal performance.

On March 7, DuPage traveled to Geneva, Ohio to face Harford Community College at Spire Academy in a neutral-site contest. Harford entered the matchup as the defending NJCAA national champions. The two teams previously met during DuPage's inaugural season in 2024, when Harford defeated the Chaparrals 32-2.

DuPage showed significant improvement in the rematch. Although the Chaparrals fell 20-12, they demonstrated how much progress the program has made against one of the nation's top teams.

Jones once again led the DuPage offense, scoring four goals and adding an assist. Polep finished with three goals and three assists in the loss. Mello Brown scored twice, while Gage Wimmer, Vincent Garcia-Hockett, and Keblusek each added a goal for the Chaparrals.

Now sitting at 1-1 on the season, DuPage will return to action on March 19 at home against Herkimer County Community College. The game is scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m.
