Box Score MILWAUKEE — College of DuPage ventured outside its home state Saturday afternoon and did not let up in its 65-46 loss to Milwaukee Area Technical College in N4C women's basketball.
Sophomore
Warda Niaz gave the Chaparrals a determined effort inside, scoring a team-high 16 points with a 6-for-7 effort from the free throw line. She pulled down four rebounds before fouling out in the fourth quarter.
"Warda had some solid opportunities inside and gave us a lift in the post,'' Chaps head coach
Denise McCance said.
Jessica Jnobaptiste followed Niaz in scoring with 15 points that included COD's lone 3-pointer. She shared team honors in rebounds with
Bethany Imlah with eight, and dealt three assists.
Allycia Ellis had seven points with a steal and an assist.
McCance noted that
Carolynn Keleher played sound defense by taking three charges. She also had three assists.
The Chaps, now 3-13, are at Wright College on Wednesday night. Tipoff is 5 p.m .
