Jaylyn Grant carried the Chaparrals' offensive game, scoring 21 points in the Chaps' 83-39 loss at Kalamazoo Valley in NJCAA women's basketball Friday night.
 
The hosts outscored the Chaps 50-21 in the second half.
 
The Chaparrals, now 3-11 overall, are at Glen Oaks Community College tomorrow. Tipoff is noon at the Centreville, Mich., campus.
