COD, which lost to Rock Valley College 8-0 and Triton 9-4, are now off until it travels to Florida for its Spring Break trip that begins March 12.
 
Chaps 11, Harper 3 5 innings
Kiara Negron delivered a pair of triples and drove in three runs in a game shortened by the eight-run rule.
 
The Chaps pounded 11 hits with five extra-base hits for the victory.
 
Leading 5-3 heading into their half of the fourth, the Chaps struck with a six-run, five-hit inning that brought 11 batters to the plate. Alyssa Pham (triple) and Kate Koska (double) had extra-base hits and Negron delivered her second triple of the game, this time driving in two.
 
On the mound, Veronica Swan went the distance. She struck out four without a walk and spun a three-hit shutout.
 
Rock Valley 8, Chaps 0
Karen Martini, Sydney Sturino and Pham each singled, but the Golden Eagles were too strong in the five-inning game.
 
The Chaps stranded three runners on base against Rock Valley's Cadyn Ehrenberg.
 
Martini had two strikeouts and allowed nine hits.
 
Triton 9, Chaps 4
Seven errors cost the Chaps in their game against the Tritons.
 
Madison Briggs went 3-for-3 — all singles — and drove in two runs. Martini had a pair of singles with an RBI.
 
The Tritons put the game away with a four-run third inning.
