Box Score College of DuPage wrapped up its Spring Break trip Friday morning in a 4-3 loss to Danville Area Community College in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
 
The Chaparrals (6-6 overall) went 5-4 in their week-long schedule of games in the Palmetto State. They are scheduled to make their home debut Tuesday afternoon against Robert Morris. First pitch is 2 p.m., pending field and weather conditions.
 
Mike Wagner tripled with an RBI and went 2-for-4 with teammate Steven Salvino also going 2-for-2 (singles).
 
The Chaps scored twice in the first inning and led 3-2 entering the sixth. Danville scored its decisive runs in the sixth.
 
Starter Jonny Vesevick threw 5 1/3 innings and allowed three hits, three runs (all earned) and struck out six with four walks.
 
Driving in runs were Corey Vondra and Anthony Fumagalli.
