Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Freshman Jocelyn Leerschen broke up a no-hit bid and finished 2-for-3 with a two-run double in the Chaps' 20-3 loss to six-time defending NJCAA champion Rock Valley College in the season-opener for both clubs at the N4C Dome Jamboree.
 
The Chaps, who went to lose to Triton 10-1 in five innings in the late game, will play six games in three days under the roof near O'Hare International Airport.
 
The Golden Eagles sent 29 to the plate in the first two innings, scoring all 20 of their runs.
 
Leerschen gave the Chaps their first hit on a lead-off single in the fourth.
