Jonny Vesevick dominated in five innings as the Chaps defeated No. 6 Northampton 7-3 on Sunday in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

The Chaps, now 1-2 overall, take on Union College and Northampton on Monday.

Gray added a double to his 2 for 3 day, and
Patrick Doran and
Giovanni Lopez also had two hits for the Chaps, who totaled 12 hits, six for extra-bases.

COD took a 2-0 lead in the first and led 4-1 through five. Gray capped the six with his two-run homer.

On the mound, Vesevick was solid in his five innings. He struck out six, walked three and gave up five hits. His only run allowed was earned.

Seth Borden had one strikeout in the seventh.

Mike Wagner tripled. Dunne had two RBI, while
